Who we are
Dash is made by Seungbeom Kim ("we"). Contact: dash@eveos.one.
What stays on your device
Everything you save in Dash: links, screenshots, photos, scans, voice memos, notes, tags and folders, plus everything Dash works out from them. That includes text recognized in images (OCR), image labels, search embeddings, and the summaries and tags suggested by Apple Intelligence. All of it is processed on your device with Apple's frameworks (Vision, Speech with on-device recognition, Apple Intelligence foundation models) or the optional on-device search model below. We never receive it.
Dash asks for permission before it uses the camera (document scanning), photo library (bringing in screenshots and photos you choose), microphone and speech recognition (voice memos, transcribed on the device), and Face ID (locking folders). You can change these in iOS Settings at any time. Reminders you set are local notifications.
Data we collect

Both are stored in the CloudKit public database of the Dash iCloud container, together with your public encryption keys. They're used only to make Friends work, never for advertising, analytics or tracking, and they're not sold or shared with anyone.
What you send to friends (the saves you share and an optional message) is end-to-end encrypted on your device before upload. It waits in CloudKit until your friend receives it, for up to 30 days. Only your friend's device can decrypt it; we can't. We can see delivery metadata (recipient friend code and dates).
We don't collect anything else. No analytics or advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting SDK, no device fingerprinting. If you've agreed to share diagnostics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports.
Services that see some data because you used a feature
- Your iCloud (Apple). If you turn on sync, your library is stored in your private iCloud Drive and iCloud database, so your devices stay in sync. Items marked Keep on device aren't uploaded. Theme purchase receipts are also placed there so Dash for Mac can unlock themes you bought. Apple's privacy policy applies. We can't access your private iCloud data.
- Link previews. When you save a link, Dash fetches that page's public title and image. For X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and Vimeo links, it asks the site's public oEmbed service and sends the link to that site. Those sites receive the request (including your IP address) as with any web visit. Nothing else from your library is sent.
- Optional on-device search model. If you turn on Gemma search, Dash downloads the EmbeddingGemma 2 model files (about 865 MB) from Hugging Face. No library data is sent; the model then runs on your device.
- Organize on Mac and Ask (optional). These only work if you also use Dash for Mac and connect an AI agent there (OpenAI Codex, signed in with your ChatGPT account, or Anthropic Claude Code). Before anything is sent, Dash asks for your permission. The item's text, text found in its images, folder names, a few similar items' titles and a small copy of the picture (up to 768 px), or your question with your best-matching saves, travel through your private iCloud to your Mac. The agent there sends them to OpenAI or Anthropic under your own account and their terms. We never receive this content. Items marked Keep on device are never sent. You can withdraw permission in Settings › Agents.
- In-app purchases (Apple). Themes are bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details.
- Dash for Mac imports (optional). If you connect Pinterest or YouTube on the Mac to import your saves, the sign-in tokens stay on your Mac and are used only to read your own saves.
Tracking
Dash doesn't track you across apps or websites, doesn't show ads, and doesn't share data with data brokers.
How long we keep data, and how to delete it
- Your library: on your device until you delete items (deleted items go to Dash's trash, which you can empty) or delete the app. In iCloud, until you delete it there (iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › Dash).
- Friends: use Friends › Delete my Friends profile to remove your public profile (display name, friend code, keys), your friend list, and packages and receipts you sent. Packages that weren't received expire after 30 days. Removing a friend deletes them from your list.
- Anything else: email us and we'll help, including requests to access, correct or delete Friends data.
Children
Dash isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, the CCPA, or Korea's Personal Information Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Most of this you can do directly in the app; otherwise contact us. We'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. If the changes are significant, we'll also tell you in the app.

2. 기기 안에서만 처리하는 정보
Dash에 저장하는 모든 것(링크, 스크린샷, 사진, 스캔, 음성 메모, 메모, 태그, 폴더)과 그로부터 Dash가 만들어 내는 것(이미지 속 글자 인식(OCR), 이미지 분류, 검색용 임베딩, Apple Intelligence가 제안하는 요약과 태그)은 Apple 프레임워크(Vision, 기기 내 음성 인식, Apple Intelligence 기반 모델) 또는 아래의 선택형 기기 내 검색 모델로 기기 안에서 처리합니다. 개발자는 이 정보를 받지 않습니다.
Dash는 카메라(문서 스캔), 사진 보관함(고른 스크린샷과 사진 가져오기), 마이크와 음성 인식(음성 메모, 기기 안에서 받아쓰기), Face ID(폴더 잠금)를 쓰기 전에 권한을 요청합니다. 권한은 iOS 설정에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. 다시 보기 알림은 기기 내 로컬 알림입니다.
3. 수집하는 개인정보와 이용 목적

위 정보는 공개 암호화 키와 함께 Dash iCloud 컨테이너의 CloudKit 공개 데이터베이스에 저장됩니다. 친구 기능에만 쓰며, 광고, 분석, 추적에 쓰지 않습니다. 판매하거나 제3자에게 제공하지도 않습니다.
친구에게 보내는 내용(공유한 저장 항목과 선택 메시지)은 업로드 전에 기기에서 종단간 암호화됩니다. 친구가 받을 때까지 최대 30일 동안 CloudKit에 보관되며, 친구의 기기만 복호화할 수 있고 개발자는 볼 수 없습니다. 개발자가 볼 수 있는 것은 전달 정보(받는 사람의 친구 코드와 날짜)뿐입니다.
그 밖의 정보는 수집하지 않습니다. 분석·광고 SDK, 크래시 수집 SDK, 기기 식별(핑거프린팅)이 없습니다. iOS 설정에서 앱 개발자와 진단 정보 공유에 동의했다면 Apple이 익명 크래시 보고서를 개발자에게 전달할 수 있습니다.
4. 기능을 쓸 때 정보를 받는 서비스(제3자 제공·처리위탁 해당 여부)
개발자는 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하거나 처리를 위탁하지 않습니다. 다만 아래 기능을 이용하면 이용자의 요청에 따라 해당 서비스와 직접 통신합니다.
- 내 iCloud(Apple). 동기화를 켜면 라이브러리가 내 개인 iCloud Drive와 iCloud 데이터베이스에 저장되어 기기 사이에 맞춰집니다. '기기에만 보관' 항목은 올리지 않습니다. Mac용 Dash가 구매한 테마를 열 수 있도록 테마 구매 영수증도 그곳에 둡니다. Apple의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용되며, 개발자는 개인 iCloud 데이터에 접근할 수 없습니다.
- 링크 미리보기. 링크를 저장하면 그 페이지의 공개 제목과 이미지를 가져옵니다. X(트위터), YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo 링크는 해당 사이트의 공개 oEmbed 서비스에 링크를 보내 요청합니다. 이 사이트들은 일반 웹 방문처럼 요청(IP 주소 포함)을 받습니다. 라이브러리의 다른 내용은 보내지 않습니다.
- 선택형 기기 내 검색 모델. Gemma 검색을 켜면 EmbeddingGemma 2 모델 파일(약 865MB)을 Hugging Face에서 내려받습니다. 라이브러리 정보는 보내지 않으며, 모델은 기기 안에서 실행됩니다.
- Mac에서 정리, 질문하기(선택). Mac용 Dash를 함께 쓰고 그곳에 AI 에이전트(ChatGPT 계정으로 로그인한 OpenAI Codex, 또는 Anthropic Claude Code)를 연결한 경우에만 동작합니다. 보내기 전에 Dash가 먼저 동의를 묻습니다. 항목의 글, 이미지 속 글자, 폴더 이름, 비슷한 항목 몇 개의 제목, 작은 사본 이미지(최대 768px), 또는 질문과 가장 관련 있는 저장 항목이 내 개인 iCloud를 거쳐 내 Mac으로 가고, Mac의 에이전트가 이용자 본인 계정과 해당 회사의 약관에 따라 OpenAI 또는 Anthropic에 보냅니다. 개발자는 이 내용을 받지 않습니다. '기기에만 보관' 항목은 보내지 않습니다. 동의는 설정 › 에이전트에서 철회할 수 있습니다.
- 앱 내 구입(Apple). 테마는 App Store를 통해 구입합니다. 결제는 Apple이 처리하며, 개발자는 결제 정보를 볼 수 없습니다.
- Mac용 Dash 가져오기(선택). Mac에서 Pinterest나 YouTube를 연결해 저장물을 가져오는 경우, 로그인 토큰은 Mac 안에만 보관되고 본인의 저장물을 읽는 데만 씁니다.
5. 추적
Dash는 다른 앱이나 웹사이트에 걸쳐 이용자를 추적하지 않고, 광고를 보여 주지 않으며, 데이터 브로커와 정보를 공유하지 않습니다.
6. 보유 기간과 파기, 삭제 방법
- 라이브러리: 항목을 삭제하거나(삭제한 항목은 Dash 휴지통으로 가고, 휴지통을 비울 수 있습니다) 앱을 삭제할 때까지 기기에 남습니다. iCloud에서는 직접 지울 때까지 남습니다(iOS 설정 › [내 이름] › iCloud › 저장 공간 관리 › Dash).
- 친구: 친구 › 내 친구 프로필 삭제로 공개 프로필(표시 이름, 친구 코드, 키), 친구 목록, 내가 보낸 꾸러미와 수신 확인을 지웁니다. 받지 않은 꾸러미는 30일 뒤 만료됩니다. 친구를 삭제하면 목록에서 지워집니다.
- 그 밖의 요청: 이메일로 연락하시면 친구 정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제 요청을 포함해 도와드립니다.
파기할 때는 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 지웁니다.
7. 아동
Dash는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다.
8. 이용자의 권리
이용자는 개인정보 보호법 등 관련 법에 따라 개인정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지를 요구할 수 있습니다. 대부분은 앱에서 직접 할 수 있고, 그 밖의 요청은 위 이메일로 하시면 30일 안에 답변합니다. 개인정보 침해에 대한 신고나 상담은 개인정보침해신고센터(privacy.kisa.or.kr, 국번 없이 118)나 개인정보분쟁조정위원회(www.kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972)에 할 수 있습니다.
9. 안전성 확보 조치
친구 꾸러미는 종단간 암호화하고, 암호화 키는 기기의 키체인에 보관합니다. 폴더는 Face ID로 잠글 수 있습니다. 개발자는 이용자 라이브러리를 보관하는 서버를 운영하지 않습니다.
10. 변경
이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지와 위 날짜를 고칩니다. 중요한 변경은 앱에서도 알립니다.
